This post is late because I went to our Waitangi Celebrations or New Zealand national day celebrations. I stayed at the marae and spent the whole Sunday educating the festival goers on recycling.
This was a family festival, with no alcohol and drugs. There weremany police to supervise as well as the Maori warden. I didn't see any trouble and everyone had fun.
This annual event is held at Okahu bay domain.
I am glad people had fun and learned about recycling, too!
ReplyDeleteA fun day and a learning experience. Recycling is a great thing to do.
ReplyDeleteGlad it was a safe event.
ReplyDeleteI love recycling. How great that you are active in that. We have freecycling here, where one gives away to someone else who wants it rather than discard it.
