    I am always happy why I see that my parents mango tree is producing flowers when I was a kid. I can't wait for the fruit and climb the tree.

    So this is how the flowers look like, never seen them before.
    Interesting, such a long spike of flowers for just one fruit.

    Oh my just looking at the flower and the fruit make me missed the Philippines. It is a very common sight over there and yes I love mango too.
    About my red mums I bought just this fall and I happened to know that they come back every year, in fact, a friend of mine gave me several mums of her, because it just thrive like crazy and you have to get rid of some. I bought several colors and hopefully they will come back next year. I have pineapple mums (as what they call) and the color is so pretty. And why I am inclined to plant many mums this year because they were on sale for only a $1 each pot. Now who does not get crazy of the price hehe. Happy weekend!

    That is a lot of flowers for one little mango. I have never seen the mango flower before. They are very pretty.

    PS. I added a photo of the fruit for you. They look like tiny cucumbers and one of the common English names is cucumber tree. I should have added a shot of them in my montage. And yes, as Andrea mentioned, it's sour and used in sinigang, a very sour Filipino soup. :-)
