Alstroemeria

This close up photo was at Pt Chevalier this year.

My friend M from my home town now living in Australia tells me:
I said that the pix in your blog isn't azalea but Princess Lily, commonly known beause I grow them and I recognise the leaves. It is an   Alstroemeria

Thanks M.

  1. Many grocery store bouquets have these in them. I often think they are unappreciated. I love them.
    Lovely shot Ann!

  2. It is beautiful! The header you asked about a couple days ago was a sunflower. And my husband is just like yours, they love to search.Phil goes through all the channels. I love to find a show and watch. They say this is because men are hunters and women are nesters.

  11. I love to get these flowers at the grocery store because they last a LONG time! This year I even saw them at the garden center as a plant to buy for a garden. ♥♫
