Watery Wednesday: Eels and swan

"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"
There are so many eels,
which shall I choose for my dinner?

Seen in Western Springs in Auckland New Zealand. Actually, I think the eels and swans co-exist.

I always take my visitors to Western Springs.

  4. What a great photo catch!!! I have never seen a black swan! The eel looks like his mouth is open, but that may just be an illusion in the water, a mere tiny wave. He looks mad. This picture is astounding!

  7. Your shot is so unique...
The swan wants to play or eat the eels?

  8. Eels and Swan! Very different combination. I seldom see these together. That's a great amount of eels too. I do agree with Luna Miranda too, it does look like snakes at some angles.

May you have a wonderful day Ann.

  11. Something I have never seen - a mess of eels like that, with or without a black swan watching!

  12. We have a new chinese store and they have live eels for sale.

I guess if you like them, that's a good spot to get a bunch of them.
