"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"
There are so many eels,
which shall I choose for my dinner?
Seen in Western Springs in Auckland New Zealand. Actually, I think the eels and swans co-exist.
I always take my visitors to Western Springs.
The swans seems to find the eels a bit perplexing
ReplyDeletenot a combination I see very often - eels and black swans - together!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, as the swan wonders if he should snack or play.

What a great photo catch!!! I have never seen a black swan! The eel looks like his mouth is open, but that may just be an illusion in the water, a mere tiny wave. He looks mad. This picture is astounding!
ReplyDeleteWow, I have never seen eels in my photo shoot!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of them!
Gorgeous shot!
ReplyDeletePlease come and see my Watery Wedensday entry, thank you in advance!

Your shot is so unique...
ReplyDeleteThe swan wants to play or eat the eels?
the eels look like snakes!:p
ReplyDeleteEels and Swan! Very different combination. I seldom see these together. That's a great amount of eels too. I do agree with Luna Miranda too, it does look like snakes at some angles.
ReplyDeleteMay you have a wonderful day Ann.
Great photo... A lot of eels in the water... I wonder if the swan is thinking about dinner.
ReplyDeleteEELS?!!!! Ewwww, creepy. The swan however is gorgeous.

Something I have never seen - a mess of eels like that, with or without a black swan watching!
ReplyDeleteWe have a new chinese store and they have live eels for sale.
ReplyDeleteI guess if you like them, that's a good spot to get a bunch of them.
Great shots, love seeing animals in amongst the watery nature shots.
