Ann, so glad to know that you are keeping a bunga kantan plant in your hot house. The whole plant (leaves, stems, flowers) has the asam laksa fragrance. What a wonderful way to remind you of home. If people ask me what denotes Malaysia best, I'd say its the bunga kantan - the flower and its dishes.
