When I was living on the campus of NTU in Singapore, we lived on a cleared jungle. There were bees and they often nested on our balcony. These handsome men had to make scaffolding to spray toxic fumes. It didn't really work as the bees kept coming.

I told my friends, it gave me an excuse to have macho men visiting me. The photos don't show that we are 4 storeys up.

That's scary - I've done painting work and that's bad enough when you're on a steep roof without any harness. I wonder how bad the bees would have been without the spraying?

It gives me the creeps- bees and height! Gorgeous background, though.

Fortunately we have never experienced this, but e have had friends who did. When there are that many you have to call in the professionals. They can be so loud and noisy. Love the blue on the workers. Wonder if that is a color bees do not like.

Always impresses me when scaffolding and roofers walk around as if they are on solid ground.

hahaha, hope they were watching what they were doing and not flirting at 4 stories up!

I don't think I'd want to have their jobs though ... 4 stories up and bees? Nope, I'll stick to the ground floor and be content with swatting flies! :=}

That does give these poor guys two things to worry about, doesn't it? But they don't appear frightened! :-)

By the way, pinwheels get to spinning quite fast when caught by the wind. We used to make them in school. Someone told me that pinwheels vibrate the ground and chase away ground moles????
