Sunday bridge, bridge over grills.

http://bayphoto.blogspot.com/

There is a grill so that the rubbish and leaves do not choke the water way. This is a foot bridge.

that fallen down tree makes another natural bridge!
I'm not sure I understand about the grills, though.

and no, my railroad line is a small single track.

I'm assuming you don't have to walk over that? I hate walking over grills!! Just when you do, the wind blows up a foul smell, or they clank and you think you're going to fall through into the sewer!

I've never seen a grill like this...or if I have it has never registered that that's what it was.

I think it is a very interesting phenomenon : a bridge over grills! Thanks for showing.
My bridge was not London Bridge but the Tower Bridge, which has not such a long history as London Bridge.London Bridge was often rebuilt and at last sold to a rich American, now there is a new London Bridge.

Looks like somebody has to spend a lot of time keeping that clean.
