Skywatch Friday: Fixing the TV aerial
http://skyley.blogspot.com/
We moved to a new house, the TV aerial transmission was no good. We bought a new TV, and it was still no good. We had to get a technician in. He climbed up the roof, now, we can watch good TV, especially the rugby world cup semi and finals.
Most importantly, I could watch the documentary of It's OK to cry when it was aired on Sunday. http://www.youtube.com/asiadownunder#p/c/C9FEF73B56807B22/3/IZk9w-uywAs I didn't have to fret, later I found I could watch it on TV and on Youtube. The producer GLENNA CASALME sent me a DVD.

Growing up I can remember my Dad and brothers having to fix our Tv antenna even in the winter snow.
I love my satellite.
Glad you got it fixed!
Have a great weekend Ann!
Wow, aerials are obsolete here! It's digital all the way.
Interesting shot.
Glad it's all fixed now. We have satellite dish.
Hi Ann,
I am in London, about two hours from Windsor, so Lake Huron would be about 3 and a half hours from Windsor. Windsor is near Lake St. Clair, that lies between the Province of Ontario and the State of Michigan. Along with the St. Clair River and Detroit River, Lake St. Clair connects with Lake Huron (to its north) and with Lake Erie (to its south).
Hi Ann, I saw the video of your documentary "It's OK to Cry". It's very hard to lose a child. I am very sad when I see this video. You have done so much and written so much too, that you will be a great support to other bereaved parents.
nice shot
happy SWF
It's nice to know that you can all watch a good reception in the tv, he did well fixing it. Did he say something why you'd took photo of him?
You don't see aerials like that any more, around here. I don't know whether to miss the feathery things sticking up over the houses, or not...
But so glad that you have good TV again!
That's pretty good shot Ann. Happy weekend!
Sky Watch
Nice shit. Good to know you could watch the TV again.
I have to take a look at that video, thanks for the link. Great capture for your skywatch. We can not use antennas around here, it is either satellite or cable tv. Happy skywatching!
Nice shot Ann.
