That patch of red leaves made me curious why those red leaves remain on the tree when the rest of it is bare.

Is it autumn at your side of the world? Some leaves are like that. I noticed it here one whole tree no leaves are left except for one and it clings till winter. Pretty amazing and just nice to look at it every now and then. ^_^

Yes that is strange, probably a parasitic plant on the tree.
