Sunday bridge at the beach.
I was walking at the mud flats of Whitford when I thought to myself, "This log can me a bridge for today's meme." My guide Christine Maslowski said, we used this as a bridge at high tide.

kuching flower Ylang Ylang
In July, I was visiting Kuching. Rose took me for Dimsum and we came across this dwarf Ylang-Ylang (Cananga odorata var. fruticosa) is producing a lot of blooms now.
It is most fragrant when the flowers have matured from green to a ripe yellow colour.
Kuching flower with rose.
The essential oil derived from the flowers is used in aromatherapy. In the old days, ladies pluck the flower and put it behind their ears to smell beautiful.
Rose and I were good girls, we didn't pluck the flowers, My bro-in-law was signalling us not to. He said, it would be embarrassing if we get caught. I cheekily said, I would say, my bro-in-law Rose's husband is a principal. He said, if I went to jail, I would be late for my flight home.

Three people have been killed after severe weather - including an apparent tornado - hit west Auckland this afternoon.
Police sources have just confirmed that three had died in the west Auckland storm.
Fire services communications manager Peter Stevenson said two people had been killed when a slab of concrete fell onto a truck at the St Georges Rd intersection
At least seven people are being rushed to hospital, TV3 is reporting.
A tornado reportedly hit Hobsonville, tearing down trees and ripping panels from the motorway.
Fire, police and ambulance are racing to multiple callouts in Hobsonville and Upper Harbour and it is understood a number of people may have been injured as a result.
The military are also believed to have been called in to assist.
Air Force personnel are going door to door in Hobsonville.

Red:The Ship Steak House @ Batu Ferringhi, Penang

About 10 years ago, we drove up from Singapore to Penang. We had a lot of fun , the second daughter went on a para sail, and we drove past this ship a few times.
We ate once at a small eatery where the seafood was very delicious and the boss friendly. He showed us his wall, where instead of wall paper were photos of him and various celebrities. We joked, may be he would have a photo of me. My kids joked, who knows, one day, one of us could be famous.
One night, the water engineer, then the professor, felt luxurious and shouted us to this restaurant. The kids enjoyed this almost life-size hull. It gave an illusion of a real sea going ship, of when Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean. I ordered T-bone steak to the memory of my late friend Ting Wah Teck who introduced me to this cut of steak when he took me and my girlfriends to Aurora Hotel in Kuching.
I asked many friends who didn't know about it. I was delighted vis Danny Wong, Christine posted this photo for me. Just right for this meme. Thank you Christine for the photo and memories.
