It's great for kids to get away. Where our kids went to school they went to camp for a week in the 4th grade. When we go camping in Yosemite there are usually school groups in the campground.

Hi Ann!
I LOVE camping too.
And yes it can be uncomfortable.
But children will remember the fun times, the things they learned at camp, and the short-lived independence, and their longing for home! Camping builds character and that is something valuable in this high-tech generation!

How did they fly? Were they taken n plane rides?

Thank you Ginny,

The kids didn't fly. They wore a harness and were hoisted up 8 metres. Then the team members slowly released the rope to let them come down I presume slowly.

What a great adventure for the children to go to camp. It is a growing experience for them. Love the pretty sky shot, Ann.
