I have been looking out for a MACK, since one of my students chose his name MACK. He said it was very manly.
I posted this commentary when I found my first MACK last year. I asked Mack why he chose this name.
I asked," Is it Mike?"
He said," No!"
I probed," Is it Micke?"
He replied," No!"
I asked," Is it Mick?"
He started feeling irritable," No!"
I asked," Is it Mitch?" thinking of David Hasselhoff
He said," NO!!!! It is MACK, I saw it in an American Magazine."
The next class, he brought the magazine. He gave it to me. It was a trucking magazine/catalogue.
There was his MACK. Proud and strong.
I said," Very Macho!" I should never have doubted him.

My Ruby Tuesday, hope you had a nice valentine!
Well, this is the strangest Mack I've ever seen!! It has steps and a porch!! Are they going to plant it somewhere and live in it?
That's one huge MACK!
A huge truck, interesting!
He's right, Mack is a manly name :)
That's is an interesting one. Like a building.
'Mack' is synonymous with 'truck' for a lot of Americans. Your student is right on the money!
