Well, that just happened to me once, and I missed the plane and had to stay back another night to catch the next day's flight. Luckily I have family to drive me around and to let me stay in their house.
Yesterday, the husband was going to a business meeting. The taxi came late, and there was a traffic jam. he almost missed the plane being the last person to board.
