A fallen banana flower makes a good water bowl for birds.

I haven't seen one like that for years already. Nice one Ann.

a banana blossom as a water bowl for birds. What an amazing thought, and neat photo.

Looks like some scary creature likes the little red shoes too.

from this angle, the banana flower looks like it is quite big. (obviously, I have never seen one!)

Yes it does.

I wish mine would flower this year.

I used to play with that as our bowl or plate to our imaginary dining table and we also imagine we had food inside then we ate like we have food. It was fun doing that with my cousins and friends. Happy Wednesday!

I saw my very first banana blossom in Mexico last year. I had no idea they were so colorful!(I didn't even know bananas had flowers!)

DID SOMEONE MENTION SCARLET?

Did someone mention scarlet
Or was it red I heard?
Perhaps it was a varlet
Or a vermilion bird
That shouted out the color
That’s dearest to my heart.
(It makes me feel much duller
If red is not a part.)
