watery wednesday, Windsurfing at Raymond St Reserve.

Instructor Peter prepares the sails.

Sam and another student listen to Pete.

My son Sam takes lessons from Pete Smith WNZ Master Instructor.

While Sam had his wind surfing lessons, I take photos, we live on 5 minutes from the beach. The school is located just 5 minutes from the city at Raymond St Reserve Pt Chevalier.

how wonderful to take lessons and learn a sport well.

yes our rivers can freeze, takes many days with deeply cold days. we have not had them this year. we have barely had snow. even though the mountains are white, it is shallow and in my yard i would usually have at least a foot of snow, but have only 2".

lovely 2012 to you ~
