Crocosmia (/krɵˈkɒzmiə/; J.E. Planchon, 1851)^[1] (montbretia)^[2] is a small genus of flowering plants in the iris family, Iridaceae. It isnative to the grasslands of the Cape Floristic Region, South Africa.
