Ruby Red Tuesday: Cafe Redwoods

http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com

Out west of Auckland, in Swanson is this Cafe Redwoods. They serve this sandwich/bun with a fancy name. I am sorry I forgot what it is. It might be a Panini because I remember it began with a P. Do you know?

I didn't order it because I didn't want to embarrass myself not knowing how to pronounce it and also it was quite pricey for a sandwich like that, LOL. Besides, I am a rice and noodle person.

Oh, yum this looks good! Paninis are grilled, and this doesn't look grilled. Actually, I don't think I've seen a snadwich that looks quite like this!

I'm thinking it's not a Panini either.

It looks delicious but huge! I think I'd have to share it with someone. :)

They look yummy! I don't mind having bread once in a while, sometimes get sick of eating rice and noodles.

It’s the tomato
that finishes the sandwich
so deliciously.

Very tasty looking sandwich whatever it's called. It must be a little bit grilled...that cheese looks like it's melting. Too hot for today.

I think this is panini, a bread that is thin but it has something inside and it taste good. Now I am hungry hehe!
