ruby red, rednesday: Snow in Japan

My sister Helen from Sunny Gold Coast took her children to snowy Japan. Here Thomas was like me when I experienced my first winter in Canada. I couldn't resist and ate some snow.

Hi Aunty Ann,

We had a great time in Japan. It was very cold and snowy. We caught the bullet trains to the snowfield near Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. It wasn't busy anywhere even at the subways. We only got squashed on the subway once. There was lots of snow and ice. We had to stay for 2 more days in Japan because our flight was cancelled. The airline put us in a 5 star hotel with all meals provided. They even have a chocolate fountain. Mum said that the airline lost money on us.
Love Lincoln, Olivia and Thomas

A fun way for the children to enjoy and grown-ups too. However, I do not care for all the snow.

«Louis» thinks that snow is best enjoyed from a comfortable chair next to a fireplace, steaming cup of hot coffee in hand!
