scenic sunday/bridge: A bridge north of Auckland

After crossing the Auckland harbour bridge, there is a bridge with this unusual shape. The water engineer assures me that it is not falling down.

Hi Ann, a wonderful view of the bridge. Is it me or the angle but it does look like the bridge dips down some on one end. Great capture. Happy Sunday!

yes, it is a funny bridge, that is why we asked my husband if the brdige was falling down.

Well it looks like it will by moving in the wind but I am sure that they also know how to make bridges in NS.

It looks like it might have been made to resemble a swinging bridge!

I too would feel it will collapse any moment. But the engineer knows better.

We will take his word for it that it isn't falling down!
Be that as it may, «Louis» thanks you for this fine contribution to his 100th Sunday Bridge Series post!

It looks a little droopy!

It may seem strange and scary, but when engineers say the bridge is safe, then fine :)

Regards and best wishes
