Feijoa flowers

Feijoa flower, a delicious fruit that grows here, but came from South America. It is peak of the season now.

Friends in Australia eat the flowers and say it taste like strawberries.

Lovely shots, Ann. I like the flowers but don;t like the fruit (smells like muscle pain ointment to me...)
Thanks for participating in Floral Friday Fotos, I look forward to your next contribution!

I've never seen flowers like that. I wonder if they would grow here in the eastern USA?

By the way, I am new to your blog. Nice to meet you and God bless you!

This is very intriguing. Would it be possible for someone to mail the dried flowers to try? I am very interested.
