The Viaduct at Auckland waterfront. This is a mechanical bridge that can be raised to allow passage into the basin to the fishing vessels which used it.
My water engineer is so sweet, when I asked him is there is a special name for the mechanical bridge, he found the following definition for me. In fact the photos were taken by him.
