Outdoor Wednesday : farm in Rotorua,
In 2000, we toured New Zealand and met a lovely gentleman from Florida. He was in his seventies. It goes to show that it is never too old to travel.

I would LOVE to visit New Zealand! But not to be so close to the ostrich without a fence between us, they can be quite dangerous!
Your comment on my blog made me chuckle! I would have been behind the tram with you!! I have read that these birds can deliver a vicious kick, and can actually break bones or kill! They are fast, too! I guess this one was tame, maybe raised by people from a baby. Still, I wouldn't trust it. It's brain is tinier than it's eye!

I have relatives who had visited New Zealand and loved it. I've never been but would like to go. I've always also wanted to visit a real farm. I'm a city gal so that would be a special treat. Love your photo with that beautiful ostrich.
